About Matthew Delaney

Before becoming a business broker, Matthew spent the last 10 years buying and selling millions of dollars worth of businesses for himself. He truly understands what it feels like to be in your position right now as either the buyer or seller of a business. He was first introduced to FCBB while purchasing a chain of local restaurants where FCBB was representing the seller. As a buyer, he's personally been approved for multiple SBA loans totalling 7-figures, showing that he knows what it takes to both find and acquire quality businesses. His SBA bankers have even called him "The best borrower we've ever worked with." Matthew is still a local small business owner to this day, which helps him keep his finger on the pulse of what business owners like you need in today's competitive marketplace.

Prior to starting his own company, Matthew worked for the United States Treasury by reviewing the financials and operations of small businesses and self-employed individuals. This unique insight gave Matthew the ability to deeply understand both the financial and operational aspects of a wide range of business types. Matthew was also an assistant controller for the 3rd largest Marriott in the world, has passed the majority of the CPA (Certified Professional Accountant) exams, and has his Degree in Business with concentration in Professional Accounting. With a background that includes retail, eCommerce, hospitality, entertainment, auditing, digital marketing, technology, sales, and business leadership, you can be sure that Matthew will be able to properly understand the ins-and-outs of your business and how best to position it for sale.
